Thanks to sabberer for sharing these photos - my wife is in a few! Recently a man from Ottawa attacked Ponderosa on his naturism podcast, putting it in the class of Naked City at its worst merely because it holds an annual contest (that my wife and I went to several years and we’re nude throughout) and because it is swinger friendly. First, my wife and I practiced nudism for the entire weekend of every NAP we went to except the year she entered the amateur contest. She wore a thong bikini because most of the other contestants (little sisters of real NAPcontestants mostly who didn’t disrobe and put their tops back on while on stage).
My wife has always had a bit of an exhibitionist fetish decided to enter in the contest at the last minute, was the oldest of the bunch (though one wouldn’t guess that given how great and young she looks). She and the other nudists (several who came on stage completely nude) shed their tops and bottoms while performing. My wife got more catcalls than any of the other ladies and thousands of photos were taken of her from the bleachers full of pervs screaming “yeah nice pu**y!!” But my wife enjoyed the experience of showing herself off. As she said at the time “if those guys need to see my landing strip to get off or need to jack off looking at pictures of me nude so be it.” She considered it a compliment. My wife was raised by nudists and her first experience at Ponderosa was as a blossoming 15 year old. She adamantly rejects the contention by this man from Canada that Ponderosa was a sex abusers haven or a bad place because it is swinger friendly. Swinger friendly doesn’t mean public sex (it is specifically prohibited as Scarlett says in the rules: “Get A Room”). In fact, we we started swinging in the late 80s we would go to Ponderosa but it was a prearranged date - my wife insisted she only be with one man for the weekend so as to not confuse any teens and children. So we would meet the couples we had dates with outside the club and my wife and her husband for the weekend would check in and out together - as did his wife and I. So we would see each other at the pool and events but that was it. We stayed in separate cabins or rvs with our weekend trysts. There is even an early “bushy” photo of my wife with the male half of a couple we swapped with years ago with their arms around each other and nude, of course. We met couples that we swung with through ordinary interaction at Ponderosa and enjoyed “adults only” weekends because we could check in together and swap Saturday afternoon for overnights with the couple we had prearranged plans with. With only one exception (which was an unplanned Sunday morning “down and dirty” swap in our cabin together with the couple) we never “picked up” or engaged in interaction more like we do at indoor swingers clubs. We never had sex outdoors at Ponderosa and while we did some kinky things at Sun Aura (an orgy that was indoors on a Saturday night) we never had sex outdoors there either (we can do that at my hunting cabin in the woods or at a swingers only club if allowed). Polyamory is becoming more accepted in our country and as my wife says, some of us were born with this sexual preference. What we do in our cabins and with whom is nobody’s business but ours and the couple we swap with. In closing, people should consider how many amateurs that came to Ponderosa for NAP ended up giving nudism a try and did it again or at least learned it is socially acceptable? We’ve met a lot of great people at Ponderosa. It is a wonderful place and people shouldn’t degrade it because it is swinger friendly. What we saw over the years was a place where couples could swap and not be judged when they left an event headed to the cabin with someone else’s spouse. That’s right we got wild in our cabins at Ponderosa to be sure but can’t nudists have whatever kind of sex they want in their tent, cabin or RV? Should my wife and I be judged because we like to have sex with other people and do so openly and honestly as part of our marriage (and we’ve swapped with more than a hundred couples over the last more than 39 years. Absolutely not! This long reply, if not rant, was originally based on pictures that bring back great memories and a response post making clear Ponderosa has never been like Naked City was back in the day!!! That statement deserves an explanation point! Thanks again to all! |
