they were happy to send out photos of themselves, full frontal, with names even on them, to family and friends?

The point he is making is this.

The full name and link to the Twitter account is ALREADY available to the public to view. He just combined the freely available information into one place.

However the calendar he mentioned was only available to family and friends and therefor isn't in the public.

SO no it's not BS, it's common sense.

No actually he made the point that pictures had not been posted online before and were sold to family and friends only so didnt want to breach their privacy. He then added as an afterevent that their names were also visible. If you are happy to post someones name on one topic you shouldnt be so coy on another.

Added to that is the fact that the forum rules state that names should not be revealed in order to protect peoples privacy so he is actually happy to break the rules in some cases so yes I smell bullshit not common sense.

So the problem is that he's stopped breaking the forum rules? If I were to venture a guess, I'd say he's learned that he's not supposed to do this and has decided to act accordingly.
