Like the rest of you, I have a perchance for Vintage and Amateur porn ... anything film-wise pre 1980 is ok, pre 1970 is better but pre 1960 is deffinately superior as the acting appears amateur anyway.

I happen to agree, anything made after 1979 is trash because the cross over to VHS marks the birth of desensitized, sterilized, zombie porn that we see today for the most part. Mainstream porn now-a-days lacks anything that would draw my interest because: (1) fake tits make no logical sense to me (2) porn stars are completely unaffected by the situation; they could get fucked by a small army on a global live feed and could care less...

Before the PC became an item in every home I started buying and/or renting only VHS tapes in a small section of the adult store marked amateur. Some of the best videos I ever saw were the Home Grown series and that type of entertainment is the only Adult Entertainment that I find stimulating for at least 30 years.

Well, I'm not suprised that many of you prefer amateur to pro. After all, that's why we're on OCC. But when I say my tastes are becoming more narrow, I don't simply mean that I now watch amateur exclusively over pro. What I also mean is that even my tastes in amateur porn is becoming more specific. These days, I enjoy only those scenes where the activity is something I would or do engage in. For instance, in my own personal life, I don't really enjoy doggie style (admittedly, I might not be any good at it). So when I come across a doggie style scene, even if the participants are true amateurs behaving realistically, I usually fastforward. Similarly, I skip the BJ scenes where the guy is standing and the girl is kneeling because it's something I personally would never do (I'm lazy and think it's more comfortable to be laying in a bed). I guess it goes back to me living vicariously through the scenes on my monitor.

I'm not asking if you have the same tastes as me. I'm just asking if you're becoming more particular. For instance, if you are into anal (which I'm not), do you find yourself watching it almost exclusively now? Do you think the exposure to so much (in terms of quanity and variety) on OCC has contributed to the narrowing of your tastes?

On a somewhat related subject: When it comes to looks, I prefer the girls in the videos to be young. I'd much rather watch a chubby 20 year old than a hard-boyd 45 year old. I really like the "girl next door" look. Cute, but no necessarily what people would call hot or sexy. I prefer Reese Whiterspoon over Carman Electra. I hate fake breast. Yuck.

First of all, thanks to everyone who has replied to my post. I'm glad to see so many people agree with me. I figured A Lurker would because he tends to post the exact types of videos I like.

As for narrowing down as far as taste is concerned, I suppose that's true just as well. There are things I like in real life (as opposed to OCC life in a way) which I also tend to look for in the vids. One of my favorite "fetishes" (if that's what you want to call it) is female masturbation (among others). So I tend to look for the respective vids depicting just that. That kind of vid isn't just saved on my hard drive in a folder named "For OCC" and deleted after posting it in here, but it gets moved to another folder afterwards and is eventually burned on CD to keep. Weird, I never really thought of or looked at it that way...
