This is a belated backup to Fango re the comments by GRONKE.
I agree that everyone has their own buttons they need pushed and I never even bother with the hardcore or amateurs - I like the ENF and upskirts, teh sort of things you may actually see happen. (That's also why I get annoyed when I see smiling naked girls misfiled in these categories.)
As it happens - if you check all the posts by GRONKE - he is like some others on this board who only request or complain and don't really contribute - well actually - he has contributed a couple of pix he says are of his girlfriend, but one was remove for being watermarked so who knows. He has also posted details of one of the girls giving her car registration and address. Personally I would prefer not to have people like that on this board. I prefer people like Fango as he is an ace contributor and a regular guy.
I will say it before Alex - let's get back to business and forget this.

Sorry, friend, I dispute it. I don't think this is the greatest of all time... in fact, I don't even particularly like it. It just goes to show that there are different tastes. There are at least three critiques I'd make of this clip, and here they are in increasing order of severity:

1. No nudity. Call me old-fashioned, but this still matters to me. If an entire crowd is getting to check out her goodies, I don't see why I can't either. This isn't a fatal flaw... plenty of excellent, beautiful ENF scenes have been pulled off without nudity. But all else being equal, a clip with nudity is better than one without.

2. No reason for loss of clothing. Okay, look. When it comes to ENF scenes, my threshold for plausibility is really, really low. A kid develops psychic powers and uses them to rip off clothing? I can buy that. A powerful magnet is rigged to rip off the prom queen's dress? Sure, why not? Rival sororities choose to settle their differences with a public game of strip football? Pass the lotion! (Connoisseurs will instantly recognize all three examples, of course.) But in this clip, there's no reason at all. All of a sudden, her clothes just vanish. Not only does this peg the clip as a certain dream sequence (see reason #3 below) but it means the crucial question of why goes unanswered. And not only that, but it also means there's no antagonist (or protagonist, from our point of view.) Another party hasn't schemed to strip Kirsten out of mischief or malice. Rather it's as thought God Himself blinked at her and her clothing disappeared. Sorry, it just doesn't work for me.

3. Dream sequence. This is a big spoiler for me. If a character in a movie dreamed of his own death and then awoke safe and sound in his own bed, there's no way I could call that the greatest death scene of all time, just as I can't call this the greatest ENF of all time. Why? No consequences. You point out what she does after she wakes up, and I just don't see the saving grace there. She wakes up in a panic, she checkes her clothes... and then, as it always does after dream ENF, the panic and embarrassment dissolve into relief. She's not really naked, she hasn't just been humiliated in front of her entire class, she's safe and sound in bed. No need to be embarrassed, nothing to worry about, it was all just a dream. That's an automatic deduction of 1.5 points. I give this clip a 6.8.

My own nominee for best ENF has got to be the strip football game in H.O.T.S... of course, considering my bias towards stripping games this isn't surprising. Points in favor: Multiple embarrassed girls, over a dozen. Slow stripping, piece by piece. Forced to reveal selves rather than having clothes ripped away. Stripped by enemies... who are fighting to save themselves from being stripped. Stripped in front of a large, cheering crowd which is there for the express purpose of seeing them stripped. Spending a lot of time topless and embarrassed. Stripped while doing an activity (playing a sport, in fact) which makes covering up difficult or impossible. And attempting to play while covering up is what causes one team to lose the game (and presumably their panties, although alas we don't get to see this) and this is explicitly pointed out. I mean, c'mon, this is a frickin' Picasso. Just the scene right after the H.O.T.S. girls lose their bikini tops and the camera tilts down to the field and you see top after top fall to the ground is pure directorial genius.

I agree with Red on all three points. But I do enjoy Fango's posts, even if I disagree about this one being the 'greatest'.

I see a LOT of posts that claim to be "ENF" that are actually "E-NN-F", and it just isn't the same. But, everybody has different preferences, so I don't really mind. It would be nice to identify the true ENF stuff in the subject lines, or have some sort of system in place that categorizes each submission more specifically, or more appropriately.

This isn't criticism.... just some ideas.

The reason I called (and still call) this the "greatest" ENF scene of all time (besides the reasons listed in my original post) is because this is the most embarrassed I've seen a girl in a mainstream movie or TV show and this is the most embarrassing situation I've seen a girl in in a mainstream movie or TV show. I didn't even take the nudity level (Whether or not we, the viewers, can actually see the girl naked is irrelevant to me, because the girl is naked in the "movie world" and is embarrassed not because we, the viewers, are seeing her, but because other characters are.), reason for stripping, or dream sequence nature of the scene into consideration. Those and other factors are far less important in my personal "critiques" of ENF scenes than are 1. how embarrassed the girl is (i.e. her reaction) and 2. how embarrassing the situation the girl is in is (i.e. where the girl is, how many people see her, how she is undressed, etc.) (On a side note, this is the very reason I've never really liked that Charlotte Ross "NYPD Blue" ENF scene. Even though we see nudity, it is really happening, etc., Charlotte doesn't act anywhere near as embarrassed as Kirsten does in this scene. No scream, no look of surprise, no fumbling for a towel, just a grimace, a tiny gasp, and a slow cover-up. Just doesn't do it for me. Whatever.)

I still haven't seen a more realistic, yet exaggerated, and perfect ENF expression and reaction than Kirsten Dunst's in this scene. From the time she realizes her nudity all the way through to the end after she wakes up, she is totally and utterly embarrassed (I don't see her exclamation of "Holy shit!" as a sigh of relief, but as the last extension of the embarrassment. Praise the editor for cutting to the titles right where the embarrassment would naturally end). As for the situation, I personally find the inexplicable loss of clothing to be more "embarrassing" than a more "realistic" mode of stripping, whether it be magical, magnetic, or whatever, because the girl doesn't know where her clothes are, doesn't know why they're gone, and has no way of getting them back. She is left with nothing to do but desperately cover up and scream, while, in this case, hundreds of people ogle her and call out to her. Now that's embarrassing. And that's why I still think this is the greatest ENF scene of all time.

I'm with you on this specific point, Red.

I also very much enjoy Fango's posts, let me add that as well.

I do understand that the 'N' in ENF doesn't always mean we the viewer have to see the full 'N'. But...I've made a couple of posts where I'd hope such scenes were labelled ECNF or EHNF where 'C' stood for covered or 'H' for 'hidden'. Whatever adjective would work - obscured, not viewable, PG, network-TV-ready, whatever. Maybe something like ENF(PG) or ENF(R) depending on the vid.

I've thought about a Sexy Vids (PG) forum and a Sexy Vids (R) forum. That way, the fans of the "pure genre" regardless of actual viewable toplessness or nudity could go direct to that forum, expectations already set, and those who prefer their ENF more caffeinated (so-to-speak) could go direct to that forum, and never be disappointed. Of couse, incorrect posts in either forum would be moved to the appropriate forum.

Just my two cents.

This is a great board and I give my appreciation to all posters such a fango for their never ending contributions.

To add to this useful discussion. In my view this isn't a good ENF scene. WHY? Becasue the actress is only pretending to be embarrassed! Its not real- its ACTING!

I'm not criticising anyone here, people of course enjoy different things. I understand why people WOULD like it.

But to me ENF, to work, has to be GENUINE - The real look of shock.

I don't know if you've seen it, but to me the classic ENF scene is where that lady gets her long dressed trapped in a british taxi, and it comes off as it drives away. Her scream of WAIT, the whole sudden "oh no" moment is fantastic.


Likewise I don't enjoy mainstream hardcore with fake moans and groans.

Right, but...that's the whole point of this being called a great ENF scene, meaning great embarrassed acting. If we were talking about great real ENF videos, that is an entirely different discussion. My favorite ENF video is a different choice than this, my favorite ENF scene. Just to clarify.
