How can I prove it when they were taken from a free site that I found ages ago? Also they may LOOK like pro pics to you but to other people they may NOT, so really they have been taken off because they LOOK like pro pics even though they aren't.

I've seen plenty of amateur and non-pro pics that LOOK like pro's but they aren't.

EDIT: Also the one you took off of the girl in the white top posing in the launderette isn't a pro pic either (which doesn't look at more or less of a pro pic than a couple of the ones that were left on).

For those of you who have a problem with the policy of removing Pro or potentially pro pictures - you really should consider the fact that this is for the protection of this forum. In the worst case scenario it could take just one case of a professional photographer finding his work on here to bring an end to our favourite website. We are very lucky to have a great archive of images here but any claim that a license fee be paid on a particular image by the copyright holder might also base that claim on the amount of time that the image has been online - potentially leading to thousands of dollars in fees - and that is if the mods take care of the situation immediately and it does not have to go to court. Remember, copyright on an image comes in to effect the moment that image is taken and it applies to everyone who produces images - not just professionals. Be grateful that this forum is so open. We have a great resource here and b*tching about the rules that allow it to stay in existence is helping nobody.

This comment is not a dig at anyone - I appreciate the efforts of everyone who takes the time to upload images here for us all to see just as much as I appreciate the efforts of the mods who keep everything ticking over.

My point is that certain pics get removed because of an opinion and not proof that they are - or aren't - pro pics. Tons of pics can be taken from professional sites from the free view sections and posted anywhere and if the professional photographer for the pro site sees one of their pics on a forum - even with the water or copyright mark cropped out - they could still do something about it as they own the rights obviously. ANY photographer can do this - not just the pro ones.

My point being is how can a person look at a series of pics and think "nope - that one is a pro pic so that will get removed but that one isn't a pro pic because it doesn't look like one." I have seen TONS of amateur stuff which have been taken by professional photographers but are done in a way to make them LOOK amateur. Are those ones ok just because they look amateur even though they are of professional models? Those still run the risk of getting a forum into copyright bother as much as the pro looking pic, so where would it end? It's just based on opinion and that is all.

Below is only a very small handful of pics from many that I have seen on this forum who are of professional models that are STILL available in the Awesome Tits thread in the Sexy Amateur section, which is ironic as these models are anything BUT amateur (which is not just heresay as I know who each of these models are) and was created back in 2010. They have obviously been left because I presume they just LOOK amateur and not pro and some of these pics are more pro looking that the ones I had removed.

I totally see where you are coming from but my answer to the above question would be - because he is the one charged with making sure the forum stays safe to the best of his abilities. Unfortunately this might mean a less than perfect system - but it's probably the best system that we can hope for.

No. Pro pics = pics from pay sites (and adult magazines), plain and simple. They will be removed regardless of whether they "look amateur" or "look pro". Pics that "look pro" are removed, as I explained to you, out of caution, and because the vast majority of pay site pics have that "pro pic look" to them. Unfortunately, this means that amateur/original pics that look like pro pics do get removed on occasion. Conversely, the pro pics that "look amateur" are harder to tell, for that very reason, and yes, some do get left, because it's impossible for all of the Moderators to know all of the pro pics from all of the pay sites.

As I said above, it's impossible for all of the Moderators to know all of the pro pics from all of the pay sites. We need all the help we can get. People who do recognize those "amateur-looking" pro pics can be helpful by reporting the posts that said pictures are in so that they can be removed. And it would be nice if you could start being helpful by reporting the posts that those pictures are in so they can be removed.
