Absolutely awesome posting, Nakedhippie These are not all the same location, but most don't look like the US. Wonder if some are from Australia. I have lots of questions, so if you can provide any info you may have gleaned as to where these were taken, I'd be much appreciative. As Crispus can tell you, i need to know what folder to put these in! thanks again!

Since Nakedhippie found his most recent pics on facebook, I was wondering if there might be more like them at http://VKontakte.ru. This is the Russian equivalent of facebook, has 100,000,000 users, and allows nudity. This site has only been mentioned a couple of times at OCC, and I doubt that many pics has been mined from it yet. We can supply the russian language terms for festivals like Empty Hills (where some of his pics might have been taken). Also, in the Russian Way of life thread, there are hundreds of pics from Empty Hills, Ivana Kupula, Khan Altay, ethnolife, art-labirint and other Russian hippie fests. Another one is A Space of Joy. All of these festival names and their russian language equivalents (A Space of Joy doesn't have one) make great search terms and the pics that come up may look quite a bit like the ones Nakedhippie just posted yesterday. But check the "Russian way of life" thread first before posting:

69|69 and Pennywiseguy2 are the chief contributors here, and they would have additional tips on finding this stuff.

EDIT: at least some of nakedhippie's pics are from the Empty Hills Festival in Russia. Some others might be from Shambhala Music Festival in BC. I'm just trying to source them if possible because it makes it so much easier to find more pics if you know the name of the festival!

To me, the "Russian way of life" thread is really a Russian hippie festival thread. 75% of those pics might go here, but we don't want to be duplicating stuff too much.

Klondike is right, I know that the hula girl pic is from Shambhala. Not sure about Empty Hills, I definitely need to learn more about that festival. The rainbow pics were not organized very well. Seems like most of the older looking shots were from around '83 & '84. Three in the last post(girl w/ floating ball, couple in field) were labeled 2009. Many of the pics were from world gatherings, a few said Brazil and I think a few from other places. Wish i would have keep track but I didn't. They seemed to be posted from the same two guys around three of the public rainbow facebook pages.

Wow! A few things occurred to me as I was looking through the amazing Russian Way of Life thread;

1.) why the hell isn't PennywiseGuy2 posting in this thread, his finds are spectacular!
2.) sorry for all the reposts that happen between the two threads
3.) be prepared for some more reposts because these beauties need to be seen!

This thread is here to serve two purposes
1.) to let new material surface
2.) to become the most comprehensive place for these types of shots

Therefore, reposts occurring in this thread should be avoided(unless quality is better of course), but reposts from other threads are encouraged. Please let us know where the images are being reposted from since this often leads to viewing posts that might have been overlooked or not found yet.
