Can you guys tell me how to get the smilies to work? When I try to add them to my post I just get words, like eek or cool etc. Thanks for your help.

I think you already have it figured out.

When you click on a smiley button, it adds certain text to your message. The forum software automatically translates that into an image when your post is displayed.
