There are some pics in this thread the made me wonder whether I might have lost my cool a bit when it comes to keeping it down, on some occasions on nude beaches. I copied them into this post. I've always thought that if it doesn't point MORE upwards that in these pics, it's not really to be considered a boner. Just a little blood filled but still soft.

Would you consider these examples boners?

I'd consider all of these boners in the sense that, if I saw them, I'd know the guy was a bit excited.
But, having been in this situation a few times myself, I would put it down to just that.
I think most people would think the same and not mind too much. Anything more could be seen as weird.

Those are not example of boners or an erection. Plain simple that's a flaccid penis and all three photos, if you go to a nude beach that's not going to get any attention. Now if it's hard and going straight up, that's a beach boner. Thanks for the feedback guys, that's how I saw it too. When minor physical reactions like that have happened, I haven't gotten any awkward looks or any indication that people react at all. It's happened a couple of times with female friends that are strictly friends-only, but with zero change in their behaviour towards me, so it's always seemed to be a natural reaction within acceptable limits.
