I can assure you I was amazed. The Women Assistants were very "exclusive", not wanting to work with a semi-retired Bloke. So I was unable to get a Full-Time Post. Suddenly, due to illness causing absence, I found myself working alongside one of the more acceptable women. The "incident" was well worth the "agro", even though I didn't stay there too long afterwards ! Other "work rotor events" were even stranger, with "seniors" abandoning their Posts to ready themselves for an "After Work Girls Party", leaving "Job-Experience-Teenagers" to run the place, whilst they "got-made-up" in the Ladies Locker Room ! And, as the only Bloke, I used to get asked to accompany them to the Car Park after the Evening Shift, because of "A Gathering of Youths" in the Town Centre.
