Hello

It takes about an hour with train from Munich Hbf to Tegernsee, and then there is a nice walk down to the sauna at the lake (and if your not in good condition consider a cab on the way back). The train is BOB as in Bayerische OberlandBahn, and its a very nice ride south up into the alps. Tegernsee Lake is almost ridiculusly beautiful, and the very nice Sauna complex has the best possible view of 'the lake with the Alps in the background'.

If you have time enough that you regard 3h in total of traveling to and from Munich Hbf as possible, Monte Mare is as far as I am concerned way above any other Sauna in 'Munich with surrundings'. But if you don't have the time you don't of course.

After a hard day at work, I decided to visit the saunas in the capital of Austria. It wasn't very busy and was mostly men when I got there. including a drunk old guy complaining about the lack of girls...
