For such a nice ass, she rarely wants to show it. If you look at her bra and panty scenes (and there aren't many. I don't count Gravity since those panties looked more like bike shorts than underwear), she seems to avoid shots from the rear. Even her non-nude nude scene from; The Proposal, lacked a good ass shot.

Sandra Bullock said she didn't use a "stunt butt" for that scene, but here's a shot of her with her body double, who's wearing the exact wardrobe she has on in the scene. I can't tell if it's really her bare ass, since there's nothing to compare it to. It's definitely a nice ass if it is her's.

Even in her early career, Sandra Bullock managed to avoid doing a full on ass shot. It's amazing, really. I remember reading a review of one of her movies in which the critic said she didn't have a very good body (he said she was too skinny). Clearly, the man was legally blind.

That was my impression as well. At the time I felt she was being coy about it to drum up ticket sales.
