Being the end of the year wouldn’t you think there’d be a slew of new charity calendars out? Instead we are seeing photos that have already been posted here over the past years.

I read an article that said they weren't doing many charity calendars because of the pandemic. Maybe everyone just got too fat.

Maybe they are becoming a bit old hat now?

The mainstream media and social media are full of implied nudity so unless they are a bit more risque, there is nothing new.

I also think that the quality of photography needs to be top notch on these shoots and that isn't alweays the case.

I speak as someone who loves the girl next door/everyday milf look so they naturally appeal to me but some of the shoots leave me cold.

I very much disagree that they are 'old hat'. There are two competing forces these days: 'body positivity' and 'the male gaze'. I think that a lot of girls see the benefits of showing off your body and not being ashamed of it, but many calendars refuse to post to strangers and dislike the idea of being ogled all over the world. Remember: these are universities. Students (the fun ones) tend to be either rowdy and randy but campus administrations are always overly sensitive.

Now that this season has almost come and gone, I think it's time to step up our game. We should actively promote the idea to various places in various ways. If people stop doing it, they'll forget these calendars ever even existed in a few years.

On a very similar vein. I was a Late Entrant to the University World. On a Residential Extra-Mural Course, attended by mainly Mature Students, one of our number was much younger, single woman. Not a particular "good-looker", but certainly NOT a "nerd" ! Our (socialist) Tutor announced that the Afternoon Session would include a "Game of Forfeits". After lunch, I spotted a "bra-strap" dangling from her handbag. Turning as she sat, I saw her blouse was un-buttoned. As part of a "Team Competition", the Tutor announced he wanted a Ladies Bra. Whilst Older Ladies were scampering-off to their bedrooms, OUR Star Performer calmly walked to the front of the Group, opened her bag and turned. Her wide open top exposing everything now uncovered by the bra she so casually dangled !

I've been to the free exhibition in Rotterdam and took following pictures from the Lowlands edition (dutch festival).
There were more pictures, but those contained men or not so pretty women (my opinion). Enjoy.

For the dutch/belgian people, the exhibition is still open until 8 Jan 2023.

They'd have to use extremely wide angle lenses if everyone stood 6ft apart. The calendars would be enormous.
