Please note that I freely mixed "Ensaio" pics with "CARTA" pics, as for our purposes it's a distinction without a difference, and I've used some editorial discretion to include some NN/covered pics that I liked.

I've attached a screenshot from one of the performer's sites, which clearly shows the transition from live shows to online in January of 2021. It looks these were for performances staged at the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II in Lisbon, Portugal.

And here's (translated) quote form an article announcing another late January to February run, online only, staged at the same theater:

"The Online Room at Teatro Nacional D. Maria II opens its doors this Friday, January 29, with "Carta", the latest creation by Mónica Calle, who took to the stage at Sala Garrett only three times, before the new confinement . Now, "Letter" can be seen at home, in a high-resolution, multi-camera recording, between January 29 and February 12, according to the TNDM II, in a statement."

That article does provides for other shows at the same venue, on their youtube and vimeo channels, but not for this one... perhaps because the tickets were already sold? The theater's vimeo page does have some other private videos that require a password to watch, but nothing related to Carta. So perhaps it was streamed there, and then taken down or archived.

I did find a site with a link/button to "WATCH" the show. I'm not sure if this was the actual ticket portal, or just some kind of event listing. Regardless, when one clicks on the link, one is taken to the theater's own website and is asked for a ticket code. I tried to put in a fake code, but nothing happens, and it doesn't indicate what streaming platform it links to.

I've spent some time going through the theater's FAQ for livestreaming, and I'd say it's unlikely we'll find an archived show with a permanent link. Their whole system seems set up to allow the audience one viewing, and then the link expires. But I'm still holding out hope someone recorded one of these shows (with high-resolution, multi-camera recording!), or that they'll do another run in the near future. Given that they've been doing live shows as recently as October, and the whole series has been running something like seven years, that seems likely.

i'm pretty sure these are new. 3 of mine are larger captures of the same pic because the only way to save the whole pic was to take a screenshot, which saves as a PNG file, which i could not share with you guys. so i used a capture device to get as large as i could. if you want the maximum size on all pics i can tell you the website where I found a gallery, if that is allowed. the moderators seem to hate members who make mistakes so I always ask first. BTW this entire show from coming out clothed, to dressing down for the occasion, to the final bow, all filmed in 4K, is my new holy grail. whoever has that please share!

Hi Muleskin. Thanks for contributing to this topic. Just a heads up that if you want the full-sized version of these pics (no screen cap needed), you can grab them from jmichael1's posts on page 122 of this thread. And if you haven't seen those already, you might also want to go back as far as page 121, where there's an equally jaw-dropping contribution from glut, and work your way forward from there.

Alternatively, just enter "Carta" into the "Search this Thread" function, and you should see all the relevant previous entries.

Also, just a heads up that if you can't right-click on a pic to save it, you can almost always grab it by entering CTRL-I (on Firefox, I'm not sure what it is on other browsers), choosing the "Media" tab, and sorting through the various graphical elements on a given webpage to find the pic you desire. If I recall correctly, that was the method I used to grab the pics from the site from whence these came.
