Yeah, it's not surprising that she isn't actually naked in the image, but I think the crop the website is using for promotion is very intentional.

And the director definitely makes it more promising. Female directors are a lot less afraid to utilize "artistic" nudity.

Has there ever been a recording of Sleep No More? I saw it a few years ago and the nudity is incredible (and mere feet away!), but I've never found footage. Surely, someone has snuck in a camera, right?

Trashy performance art, cabinet of curiosities or neck-breaking stunt show? The work of the Viennese enfant terrible Florentina Holzinger is all of these things. The choreographer is skilled at testing the body to its limits in her feminist adaptations of ballet classics La Sylphide and Apollon Musagète. However the coronavirus crisis made Holzinger aware of the flip side of this transgression. For A Divine Comedy she simultaneously positions heaven and earth in the here and now. Together with an unusual cast of stuntwomen, actresses and dancers, Holzinger explores a new spirituality of the 21st century. Three dance tutors coach the performers throughout the performance and demonstrate a Dance of Death. But is this dance not just as good as life itself? The body leads to questions about death, life and transcendence. Dance as a preparation for our own mortality. Holzinger throws up pressing questions about how we approach the end of life.

Notes: The show contains explicit scenes of violence, self-mutilation and nudity, performers smoke cigarettes on stage, and a stroboscope is used.

Many Equus performances only strip to their underwear nowadays, as can be seen if you google the various videos on-line.
I saw an amateur production in Hampshire about three years ago, where both the male and female actors stripped full frontal naked for several minutes in good lighting. However, that 'Content Warning' did say 'nudity' in the advert, this one does not.

Unfortunately, the nudity listing has disappeared from the AlmXeida's website for Macbeth. However the listing is very much still present on the SteppeXnwolf Theatre website for their revival of the play "Bug", which features full nudity from CarXrie CoXon. If any of our members are in the Chicago area circa November-December, photos or videos from this production would be awesome.
