Top cat et al there is a caveat to all of this . It appears that if was an original digital pic , ie taken for instance with an iPhone it works BUT if its a photo that was taken originally with a film camera and then transferred to a digital reprint reverse image search is NOT going to work

Once an analogue image has been digitized and uploaded it becomes searchable - no different to any image .

However , you may not find the image as search engines cannot access content behind paywalls , sites that require registration to view content , zip files etc - that's the main restriction in reverse image search .
