She's not on the main path, but clearly visible from it. There's no stairs/rails on this one. It's a more "advanced" trail, but not too tough.

Rank speculation, but I wonder if the trend to shave the pubic region makes a lot of women less willing to go to a nude beach. Back in the early 1980s, when I was able to visit Black’s Beach a few times, no one shaved. With full pubic hair, in most cases you couldn’t see anything but… pubic hair.

Now, when women shave, all their bits are clearly visible. I don’t think it explains the difference in the crowds back then and now, but it could be a factor in keeping some women from going.

That reminds me though, when I lived in California, I was friends with a very attractive woman who told me she had been to Black’s Beach. I asked her if she would go with me, and she was like “No way!”. There seems to be a difference with some women with being nude in a crowd of strangers and being nude in front of someone you know.

I don't know if you're right.
because the majority of the women on the nude beaches ARE almost totally shaved...
And I don't think that there're less than before...but the majority is not so young...

My opinion is that the popularity of going to Blacks Beach ebbs and flows. When I first started going to Blacks in the late 90's, it was (or seemed) always crowded and with lots of under 30 women. Then in the early to mid 2000's (or the aughts if you prefer) the crowd sizes diminished and the under 30 crowd definitely decreased substantially.

Now since 2010 or so I've seen a definite upswing in the beach crowd and the under the 30 crowd seems to be on the rise again.

I'm not totally sure why this is the case with the crowds, but I have noticed that bikini's seem to get smaller every year so maybe it's a small step to take them off these days. Or maybe with social media, people see nudity and body freedom more often these days so are emboldened to get naked at the beach.

Whatever it is, I'm not complaining.
