Following on from the story above.
We advertised in several newspapers and mags. that we could offer Discrete processing for Private films. Although we only advertised for a month we got around one film a week for well over a year. They varied from tame glamour to artistic nude to full blown porn. Some customers requested we posted the prints so that they would arrive on a Thursday and some asked us to write on the envelope front Locomotive 7023 photographs or print a return address of South Coast Birdwatchers Assoc. I often wondered if any actually got returned to the Birdwatchers Assoc. and what their secretary, or whoever, would think. 3-4 times per year we would get a roll of film from F.R. Txxxxx (The last name is irrelevant). When processed it contained 3 topless shots of 12 different women. A frontal and a side view from the waist up and a close up of the boobs. All 12 were taken in different homes - obviously the home of the lady photographed. The women were between 25 and 45 yrs. old. After 6 or 7 of these rolls over 18 months. one of our guys was visiting the adjoining town so he went to the address of F.R. Txxxxx, just to have a look, and found it was a Catholic church. So the F.R. obviously stood for Father!!! I wanted to ask him what his technique was to get the ladies to strip. |

Counting,
Something similar happened to us years ago. I posted it some time ago, but I'll add a few details. Shortly after we got married, and before she happily posed for others, we were sending our color film to be processed at a local drug store. They in turn sent the film out to be processed, not an in-store processor. At first there would be only 1 or 2 titty or sheer nightie shots on a regular "family" roll. We never got any negative feedback from the store so we slowly got braver, adding a few more naked shots, but still no full frontal, showing the whole thing shots. I finally convinced my wife to go all the way. We shot a whole roll of 36 exposures of her completely naked, most showing her pubic hair, a few only her breasts and a couple showing her spread open. All clearly showed her face. When I went to pick up the developed photos, I had my negatives but someone else's photos. They were of a number of local landmarks and a few of people I didn't know. That meant someone had my photos and their correct negatives. I went back in and explained the situation and returned the other person's prints. They apologized and said they would send the film out to be reprinted. They said no one else had come in having the wrong prints. (I wonder why?) I filled out the envelope and where it asked for the number of prints per negative I put 1. When I received the photos, I went to the car and opened the envelope to see if I had the right ones this time. There was 3 prints of a few, 2 prints of a few more and of the ones that were really full frontal, only 1 print. I looked down and noticed that the one I had put in the quantity, someone had marked it out and put a 4. I can only assume that when I left after ordering the second set, the young man behind the counter looked at the negatives and decided to order a few prints for himself. So there was someone with all of my original prints and at least 3 additional sets from the second order. From that point on, we sent our nudity photos out to a processor advertizing special adult processing. I found it exciting knowing that someone in our small city had several photos of my young wife totally naked. I wondered if they ever saw her out on the street, or better yet knew her. She never was approached about them. |

We had a brief experience with film cameras. The quality was far superior to polaroid.
I think I sent them mail order to a place in Wisconsin that was advertised in a photography magazine. All went well until one batch was returned with a warning. The open beaver shots, apparently were a no no. Kinda blew my story with the wife that all the work was done with machines with no human interaction ![]() I found the whole process tittilating Here's one that was naturally anonymous |

In the late 70's and 80's I used Spectra Photo, I believe in Syracuse. Never had any problems with what I sent, and the quality was excellent. They stressed the fact that no extra copies were made of any prints.

I was working for a marine company, prt of my job was to board and inspect vessels while they were in port, also get their supplies delivered and help the crew with any of their needs. I was in the galley and the cook, usually the only female onboard, asked me if they had a one hour photo places nearby and could I drop a roll of film off for her. This was her first tour and the request was a little off my usual responsibilities, but I said I'd take care of it for her.
I drop off the film, go pick up the rest of the supplies and stop back at the photo place. The man at the counter is looking at he like I am a murderer, but I hand him the ticket for the film. He goes into a spiel that he has young people working here, they saw the pictures and he is upset that they were exposed to this filth. He went on that he would not print many of the pictures and the negatives are in the envelop. Please take my business elsewhere. My first thought was that there was a mixup of some sort, the cook was a sweet looking country girl, I could not imagine there was any porny pics from her. I explained to him that they weren't my pics and how I got them, but I don't think he bought my story at all. I pay him, then go to my car and open the envelop, there was the cook, the pics were mostly bare breasted and taken onboard the vessel. I looked at the negatives and there was a lot of spread pussy shots. Long story short, I go back to the boat and after I take care of business I go see the cook. I hand her the envelop but I explain to her what happened at the photo place and I ask her not to put me in that position again. She is embarrassed but explains that her BF asked her to do that and she was going to mail them to him, she thought the photo places didn't see the pics, it was all done by machines, that's what her BF told her. I didn't write her up, but she asked me if I had seen the pics, I could tell she was hoping I hadn't, so I told he I had not. (Lied). |
