Exactly the same experience ... This is such a turn off... Yesterday I had to argue with one idiot, because he was right behind my wife wherever we were going. Wife kindly said NO to him several times and he ignored as he wouldn't understand her (italian skinhead and verry pushy). After a while my wife was already pissed off and loudly asked him to stop following her and said "I said NO hundred of times, now get lost". And you know what? This guy started to argue with my wife with: "What did I do? I didn't do anything! Did I fuck you?" Then I had to join in conversation with him because I can't hear anyone yelling to my wife.

Did you try raising your voice a little ?, the people there are pretty good at self-policing the place.

Like the furore when someone turns up wearing clothes.

This sort of thing is going to kill Cap d'Agde's reputation as a nudist resort anyone who is not a swinger can go to. Nothing against the swingers who visit but because its now more established as a swinger's resort than ever, the numbers of day pass visitors will just encourage this kind of behaviour. They could increase the day pass price or limit the day passes to weekends or both. Sadly, I cant see this happening as the city are hell bent on collecting as much revenue as they can. The new residences and hotels are exclusively swinger oriented.

Heaven forbid that the place might just become a sex resort, where sexy or fetish clothes are the norm all day. At least they should enforce nudity for all on the beach (save for the obvious female exceptions). Each year I see more bikinis and swim shorts being worn on the beach. Regardless of what some people may claim, most of us are more comfortable nude if everybody else is too.

Hi, we are a couple from Luxembourg and spend our hollidays the first 2 weeks in August from 2008 on. We also observed more and more swinger activities and fetish clothing over the last 3 summers. Many women at Cda wear intimate piercings and are obviously proud to show them. Another trend is the shaving of the pubic hair for women at Cda. Women with trimmed pubic hair were always common at Cda but in August 2012 and 2013 we observed that +-70 % of the women walking nude inside the resort and at the beach had completely shaved their pubic hair. You can even find there beauty shops offering full pubix waxing.

The ONLY solution is to close Cap d'Agde to single men, overall with daily pass. And to close/check also the Marseillan plage.

I think that this has to be self regulated on the beach. Charging more at the gate will not help. I have heard that some men swim across the water from near the lighthouse, maybe 10 metres, and then enter the village. Our friends came to visit but did not bring identity cards and were refused entry. They walked (1.5h) down the bike paths to Marseillan plage and along the beach to meet us. I do not believe it is possible (or legal?) to stop people from walking along a public beach in that manner. Having the people on the beach yell/mock these individuals will not stop them as they will just move along to another crowd. Sadly, if this does not improve we will not go back his August.

hi..u just said that ur friends were refused entry due to non-availability of identity cards. can u tell me what documents a foreigner has to bring with himself to enter cap d agde. i m asking bc a non-french person who is not a french resident, will not have national id. in that case what he/she must bring with him/herself??

They were told they needed some form of photo identification- and they brought nothing so as not to lose it on the beach- possibly when they were swimming. I do not think the kind of document is important- a drivers permit would be enough. That is why I believe many of the single men do not register and pay to enter but come along the beach.
