Must be UK. They haven't started the US one yet. Last year they went out of their way to not show any nudity.

2005 & 06 BB UK had open communal showers. Then they had frosted glass installed and only room for 1 at a tme. Now for the last few years, people have actually changed into swimming costumes before having a shower.
Is it the UK &US TV companies deciding this non nudity or Endemol who own the programme rights?

The bathrooms in UK BB have always had a glass door on the shower, the outdoor communal showers were for twists where some housemates had to use basic facilities.

There's two reasons for the decrease in nudity in recent years, firstly the axing of the live stream so the editors control what the public sees, just 1 hour of highlights per day. Secondly the contestants have all seen the show before and know everyone is watching, so they rarely act as outrageously as they promise in their audition tapes. A lower proportion of the housemates are genuine "ordinary people" as they have progressively moved towards using more models, beauty queens and celebrity spouses, who know they can get paid a lot more after the show for posing naked in certain magazines if their nude image is not already freely available.

The new satellite show "Big Brother's Bit On The Side" is actually quite good at showing embarrassing clips of housemates, including nudity, that aren't always seen on the highlights show, which is where most of the stills in this thread have come from.
