I have been reading about the forum nowthatsfuckedup.com and about the gorey pics they solicit from soldiers in iraq. This has been in the national news. First of all, I want to say I started coming to OCC regularly instead of there partly because of those pics. Second of all, when is OCC going to do something that makes the national news? I shudder at the thought. Visions of news articles with statements like "one poster, who calls himself Klondike...." dance through my head. Soon after, some sleuths would find out who I really am.

But getting back to nowthatsfuckedup.com: I suppose their membership will skyrocket now due to the exposure they're getting, maybe at the expense of OCC. On second thoughts, they can have those new members. If gorey pictures turn them on, I don't want them judging what I post. I have been to sites where when you clicked, you had no way of knowing if you would get a gorey picture or a great babe picture. Someone might tell you that this is like life - you never know whether you might die tomorrow or get laid. Anyway, I just want to take this opportunity to thank the mods once again for making this a great, clean and, so far at least, non newsworthy forum. Our competitors may be bigger and gorier, but we're the class act. And don't tell me Fox's Bill O'Reilly doesn't check us out on occasion I'll even bet you he's a member - maybe, um..FoxBilj? Is that you, Bill???
