It keeps wanting to download an .exe file which is not much good for a MAC.

You have to select one of the download sites in the middle of the page to download from (the blue "Click Here" buttons, in a list). Don't click those tricky "Download" buttons scattered around the page. Those are ads, and the reason why I always used Multiupload over Mirrorcreator. Now, I don't have a choice.
