It's a tough job for the models, some of whom have to sit or stand still for up to 14 hours. The artists competed in a number of categories including special effects, facepainting.

The artists use airbrushes, sponges or normal brushes to paint the models.

It's a very short-lived art form though. One shower and hours of work disappears forever.

It is held on the last Wednesday of August, during the week of festivities of Bu�ol.
