This would be true of almost all long running threads in the forum, but how would you know? You've only posted 124 times in your time on the forum...most of which are posts like this one. Just so you know, to preface a complaint with the words "no offense" doesn't change the fact that you're complaining, but not contributing much. That's...offensive. I wish I could remember every picture I've posted so I would never repost anything. Certainly, if I had only posted 124 times, I could remember them all. Just. Saying.

I've noticed that a lot of the photos that at first appear to be repeats are slightly different then then the original or even several other similar pics. I think many are from different series where a photo was taken every few seconds.
I like to backtrack and find all the pics that go together

Yes, there are plenty like that. But yes, there are reposts too. I wish there weren't, but it's just a fact of the forum that we all forget -especially those of us who have multiple threads and make 12,000 plus posts over 13 years. Newbies who complain but don't even start their own threads are not appreciated. Just a general rule for life that SHOULD be obvious: if you have to begin a comment by saying you don't want to offend and finish it with "just saying" you probably KNOW that you're talking out of your ass. So why say it? So many people seem to have no filter and no empathy. It's discouraging. Some of us spend a lot of time gathering pictures, making collages, etc. I don't beg for thanks, but always give it on the threads I follow. I don't make critical comments on other people's threads because I know the effort it takes to put a thread together. I would hope one either enjoys a thread or wanks elsewhere. If someone's going to be critical on any threads without contributing much else to the forum, I say, get lost.
