Always thought the earlier VS catalogs (and products) were vastly superior to the supermodel stuff. By the time you get to 1993, the model's reputation and visibility (outside the actual catalog, not in it, because heaven knows, you don't want to show nipple or bush) far outweighed the actual product being sold. However, that's marketing for you.
