Here (unless I have misidentified) are a couple, with some caveats; the first is a page almost but not quite like the ones in the post referenced, the second one of her in robe, and the third a different woman. The caveats? Unlike the ones I scanned in the earlier posts you were kind enough to thank in your recent PM, the VS "catalogs" started out being in considerably smaller format than any of the fashion mags of the day; further, many images were often put on a single page, while my previous scans were all or most of a page (or even a two-page spread): individual images will thus suffer in quality. Additionally, while these were cropped and reduced in size to make it possible to upload with my snaily connection, that's all I did with my ancient equipment, and quality must certainly have suffered as a result, especially since clicking the full size of the attachments yields a significantly larger image than the hard copy I scanned. The good news (again assuming I identified her correctly) is that she was the model most often appearing in just a robe, so there's a better chance she appeared that way or even nakeder elsewhere, though that then wouldn't qualify for this thread...if I ever get around to sorting my non-undie ad/editorial content, I'll try to remember to keep an eye out.

Wahooo! You are absolutely right-on about your second pic, with her in the robe. She always had that sultry look about her, kind of like she was thinking about real hot sex much later in the day, and making detailed plans for how to go about it. She never appeared naked, but in the earlier VS days much of the underwear/lingerie was pretty transparent, so there was opportunity to see her natural gifts shrouded by diaphanous fabric. If you page through a few catalogs, you'll be surprised at how often she appeared. Even her pictures with regular clothing were arousing (or maybe that's just a carry-over from my attraction in the underwear area).

I've always loved looking at the ads, since I was about 5, when I stored them under my grand-dad's bed! The last few years have sucked, though; because the ads started cuting off the Camel-Toes. Just when nearly every model in the country starts shaving, they start editing them out of the ads! Must be women editors.

In 1991, I was touring my son and his wife around New York City, and we stopped in Bloomingdales. We checked out a few of the floors, all very interesting, but we came around the corner and bumped into the lingerie/underwear section. There were some "fancy" (not white and plain) bras hanging on a rack. I giggled (to hide my bugged-out-eyes/drooling-down-my-chin fascination) and picked a plaid bra off the rack. I looked at the price, and it was $140. I think it was just about the same as the $7.99 bra above.

If it costs more, does it make you harder?
