I wasn't sure where to post this request so my apologies if it seems out of place. About twenty or more years ago, there was a Steve Canyon comic strip story that featured some girl being caught by some villain and in attempting to get information from her, the villain has her suspended by her long hair. The particular panel I remember shows the girl naked, from the back, suspended in mid air by a rope tied to her hair overhead. It was a pretty racy picture for mainstream newspapers. I did some simple searches but came up with nothing. Anybody out there remember what I'm talking about or better yet, know where to find this picture? Thanks.

Hi Distant Fences:
That indeed was a great comic strip. I did save the best frames from that strip. However, I do not have a scanner and, thus cannot post it here. You are right. The comic was much too intense for the Sunday funnies, where it appeared. However, artist Milton Caniff, the author of Steve Canyon (and Terry and the Pirates) was well-known for drawing pictures of sexy, scantily clad women that pushed the limits of Suday comics. But the particular comic you mention went beyond his usual works. It was one of the first CFNM-themed comic strips I ever saw in a mainstream publication. And I thought it was just about the sexiest thing I had ever seen up to that point in my life. But you are wrong about that strip having appeared 20 years ago unless it was a reprint. I am in my early 50s now. I was a teenager when it was first printed. So that comic actually was published about 30 to 35 years ago. By the way, Caniff died 22 years ago so the Strip had to be older than what you believe it was. The panels featured an evil Chinese woman in a red outfit named Dragon Lady. She and her male henchman were torturing a Filipino woman with long black hair for, I believe, information on the whereabouts of Steve Canyon. The Filipino woman was indeed buck naked and was suspended by her beautiful long hair. Her hands were tied behind her back (hiding the crack of her ass) and the soles of her bare feet were seen crossed and dangling just inches off the ground. The Chinese woman in one panel held a cigarette holder with a lit cigarette up to the naked woman's nose and threatened to make her so ugly that Steve Canyon wouldn't want to ever look at her again. The nude woman was in tears and the expression on her face was one of utter fear. But she remained silent throughout the strip. Each panel showed the naked woman at angles that hid her breasts, beaver and other naughty parts from view of the reader. In the later panels one of the henchman asked the Chinese woman if he should get a hot poker. The Chinese woman called him an idiot, asking him, something to the effect, "How is she supposed to talk with ashes on her tongue? "Get me the pincers!" The reader was left to imagine that the clothed woman was going to torture the naked woman's tongue or nipples with that nasty pinching implement. The next few Sunday editions did not address the conclusion of that torture scene and instead focused on the hero, Canyon. I eventually stopped looking for the conclusion of the CFNF scenario as I was not realy a fan of the Steve Canyon comic strip. I too would like to agan see that comic strip in its entirety and any other follow-up comic strips that describe what happened to the naked woman. As an impressionable teen, I fantasized that the clothed Asian woman and the nude Filipino gal had had -- or would have had -- a hand-to-hand battle of some kind. For a long time, I pictured the Dragon Lady freeing the naked woman and forcing her to have a prolonged CFNF fight, with the Dragon Lady working over the Filipino's breasts and pussy while beating the living daylights out of the naked lady. I started the CFNF wrestling and catfight thread on the OCC board to promote such scenarios. Best of luck in finding another member of this message board who has the entire comic, can scan it his computer and will post it here or on the CFNF wrestling and catfight thread. I doubt that you will find it on the Internet because the comic strip was orignally published in the 1970s long before there was an internet. What is encouraging is that women in CFNF encounters began to blossom in the early 1970s. At the time the Steve Canyon comic strip you described was publsihed, movies such as "Ginger," "Ilsa: Shewolf of the SS" and "Halls of Anger" were released, featuring fights or similar situations where clothed women stripped, beat or tortured nude rivals. Some of that material has appeared on the internet. I posted on the CFNF wrestling and catfight thread photos of blond Ginger, portrayed by Cheri Caffaro, wrestling and stripping nude a brunettte woman in a bikini fight on a New Jersy beach -- images I got off the Internet. Posted below are some images of Milton Caniff's Dragon Lady, including one of the Dragon Lady nude and a photo of Caniff with a drawing of the Dragon Lady's face. |

I remember the cartoon strip too. Made an impression on me. Maybe I'm the sick fuck I am now in part due to the cartoon.
I seem to remember the Chinese chick talking about other tortures (breaking off teeth. Burning the soles of bed feet, etc. Seem to remember thAt when Steve Canyon rescued the captured girl he gave the Chinese chick to a group of bandits or pirates or something like that to be used as a wh*r*. Would love to see it again. |
