A New Zealand radio station is said to be on the hunt for a couple who would be willing to bare all, and get married in the nude.

The Edge radio station is offering a couple a wedding worth 50,000 dollars, and all they would have to do for it is to get married wearing nothing at all, reports Stuff.co.nz.

A Canterbury couple have made good on their promise to get married in the barest of essentials, as part of a promotion by the radio station, The Edge.

It was not a wedding for the faint hearted, the judgemental, or anyone who thinks getting married without clothes on is a little strange.

Shane Carson and Cherie Taylor certainly did not, although their nudity did seem to unnerve the marriage celebrant. He forgot who he was marrying and got the groom’s name wrong.

Shane was painted with a simple bow tie and buttonhole, and Cherie looked stunning 'in white,' with subtle flower petals covering the necessary bits.

When asked if she was nervous walking down the aisle, Cherie said, "I was at first, I couldn't breathe. But when I saw Shane, the focus was on him - it was perfect."
