Anyone else frustrated by the lack of an IV50 codec for OSX? The only way to play it is either in Classic (9) which I can't because my Mac is Intel... or BootCamp into Window.. which I don't want to do in a million years.
Lots of great older vids on this site use that codec and us mac users are out of luck. Unless.... someone has found a work-around I don't know about.??

Have you tried converting the video to another codec?

yeah.. nothing works because thereis no way for the original Indeo Video to be "decoded" (for lack of a better word) I've tied converting it to FLV... RealPlayer... Quicktime... I think it's just a fact of life now.. that unless you have an old powerPC that runs classic environment or can boot into windows... you will never see an IV50 video play on a mac.
kinda sucks.
