Download the BSplayer at http://www.bsplayer.org/ It's in my opinion the best media player around it plays everything . change the size of the video you are playing with the scroll button on your mouse . and you can cap anything your playing just buy hitting the P key . Trust me it's way better than WMP

I only use BSPlayer for movies.

For clips, I prefer to use Media Player Classic http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/. Think Media Player 6 with a lot of new features and customisability. The latest version allows screen caps.

New Wmv files from web dont play. Microsoft is trying to make me download wmp 9 which I know and it even says will dissrupt my current player preferences. I know w each "upgrade" they include crap which makes u use only theirs which leads to buying their "updates" to continue. Heres the finger to Gates.

Problem is I cant play the new wmv's im getting from net. I thought this was my solution but looks like not. Thanks anyway Kitt and for your great posts.
