Andy Golub - Bodypainting in NYC

Nudity in the Big Apple has always held a certain fascination for me and so naturally I perked up when I saw this. And there is no mention of Andy Golub at OCC and only a few references to his work including the arrest of some of his models earlier this year. So it seemed a thread would be appropriate...

Andy Golub has been painting nude and topless models in NYC for many years. The pics are often of artistic quality and merit, similar to what you'd get from someone like Jordan Matter. Anyway, searching Google on his name will instantly bring up lots of pics, as will searching on bodypaintingintimessquare. After the arrest of one of his nude models in July 2011, Andy was required to paint only topless models after that, except after dusk (?).

The arrest pics have been posted before. but the other pics are probably new to OCC. And I would certainly LOVE to see more pics of the FULLY NUDE models from prior to July 2011.

First set: stripping down followed by a friendly visit from some cops.

It looks like the arrest of Golub's model, Zoe West back in Sept 2011 was covered a couple of times at OCC, once here:

and also in the "chicks getting arrest" thread. Seems then there have been more than one arrest, and did Golub continue to paint fully nude models after a first arrest in July? I'm confused...

Anyway, also seems Golub has been painting fully nude models in West Village WITHOUT any arrests. Mmmmm.....Times Square NO, but West Village OK? double standard there...

Anyway, here are the arrest pics again, as many as I could find quickly, then two pics showing the fully nude model(2), one censored, before the arrest. More pics please! Then its on to pics of the topless models.

Golub paints his models so completely that it can be really difficult to tell if they are fully nude. Here is a great Flickr pic and set (copyrighted):

that shows you what I mean. Look at some of the other pics. Now, this is painting at NIGHT which, supposedly, the judges said would be OK for full nudity. These models look fully nude to me here but in some of the other pics, there is a hint of a g-string. You decide....pretty cool regardless.

and also follow the link to the Flickr set. As you can see below, Andy Golub painted these lovely babes himself at the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. The tie-in goes with the Halloween thread just started today at OCC. I was adding pics there this morning, then went to Flickr to look for more. All of a sudden I was introduced to Andy Golub while searching on "halloween Parade".

The greenwich Village Halloween Parade seems to feature an awful lot of painted babes - worth attending if coming up soon, and worth a thread of its own (which it has in a sense if you go to the mammoth boob babe thread i linked to).

Thats Andy in the blue shirt (which he seems to always be wearing when he's painting), second pic...lucky guy.

Golub and the Greenwich Village Parade seem to be pretty well entwined. Here are some more pics from the parade showing girls painted by Golub. Also a few more from Times Square. All of this is easy to find on the net using those search terms.

and who said NYC doesn't have enough public nudity??
