Wife wants to be more body-positive - ideas please

Whilst at a spa day with my wife she opened up and told me that she lived in quite a repressive / misogynistic household growing up, and as a result she grew up being very ashmamed of showing her body.

She has since lost pretty much all contact with her dad - the main source of this lack of confidence. She said that she wanted to fight against this as a sort of "fuck you" to her dad and also as a bit of a feministic taking back control of her body image. In other words she wants to get the confidence to show off her body more and not see it as something to be ashamed of.

I am completely onboard with this - I want her to be more confident and liberated and I hate the idea that she'd grow up thinking and feeling a certain way because of the thoughts of a few misogynists.

But also, as someone who is extremely physically to her, and also a candaulist, the idea of her exposing herself more - especially potentially in a public place, or on camera, turns me on massively.

She came up with the idea that she'd consider doing a boudoir photo shoot for her 40th birthday (she's nearly 37 now). Her idea, but I wonder if I can subtly make any suggestions as to how this could happen?

I'm looking for other ideas of how I can help her on this journey of self discovery, maximising exposure whilst bearing mind that she isn't super body confident yet.

I would suggest a boudour photo shoot. She can dip in and out and be as exposed as she likes. Also you can choose male or female photographer. You could buy her a cheaper package as a taster then a more expensive one once her confidence builds. Post her with her face covered and see how feedback goes.

First, be sure to compliment her. Genuinely and often. If you catch her in various states of undress tell her how sexy she looks. Tell her how much you would enjoy that boudoir photo shoot that she mentioned. I’ve looked at local photographers that do it in my area and they’re mostly women and most of them have samples on their sites with older women, overweight gals, etc. it’s a great way for a woman to feel sexy regardless of their appearance.

You could also ask if you can take some photos of her. If you see her come out of the shower tell her she’s sexy and you’d like a hot to recall how hot she looks.

Also, find reasons to go to the beach or a pool and get her buying new swimsuits. Go with her and suggest revealing ones.

take her to a clothing optional beach or resort. Seeing other women with positive body images should help her. She can take off as little or as much as she wants. It's as simple as that.

After visiting friends and seeing the Boudoir shots that his wife did, it was amazing for my wife and I to see and enjoy!
Knowing that we enjoyed seeing their Collection, they gave me wife a Gift Certificate to have some done as well at the same Photo Studio.
All my wife had to do was get her hair done and all the rest was done at the Studio by the wife of the Photo guy and she was a Beauty to see and real friendly too!
That wife assistant did all the make up and had a full collection of SEXY sheer clothing and stick on attire that you could only imagine!

I agree with the clothing-optional venue - assuming she's willing to give it a shot.

During COVID my wife agreed to go to a nudist BnB. Photography was allowed there.

At first she was hesitant; but there were other women there she socialized with, and her confidence increased just by being naked with them. By the second day I suggested taking pics; and I was actually surprised she agreed to it. So we ended up doing an entire photo session.
She loved the process, it boosted her confidence; and we now have a collection of nudes she can look back on and feel good about.

Boudoir shots are good; we have friends who have done them. But fully nude in a nudist setting is IMHO even better.

Maybe start with your own photoshoot at home - get her to pose topless/nude for you and let her own the photos.

You could maybe send her some pics of your first and get her to reply in kind? Shower her with compliments when/if she does let you take some pics of her.
