so, charging for content, which was provided by users for FREE- do they get any cut?

No, they do not get a cut. If you have a problem with this, you can upload videos off-site (Zippyshare and Mirrorcreator are recommended) and post the link here.

We are one of the few forums that has an archive of downloadable videos and is not ad-supported. If you would like to pay our server fees so we can offer the videos freely, you are most welcome to.
