I hate to burst your proverbial bubble, but... she's not saying "heres my number so call me maybe". She is giving the "hang ten" . "hang loose" or "shaka" sign. This is common in the surfing community in California and Hawaii.

The difference is whether the hand is held vertical or horizontal and the proximity to the face, head and ear.
