Msn Messenger webcam capture

Just wondered if any 1 had any pointers on doing this.. i currently use bullnet's screen recorder and create a small box around the webcam window in messenger.. works well but the files are huge ! ... need something that takes videos with less hdd space needed so that they can be posted on OCC for all to see

I use camtasia. Then use camtasia to edit the videos down to viewable size.
