Dude, you're not going to get free labor by asking people to post their work so you can field offers and grant someone the honor of working for you.
Compensate people for their time and efforts or do it yourself. Nobody has any incentive to create what you want otherwise. |

Okay thats the basis i would love any feedback and ideas for add-ons but when i think of it i always think of manga/comic style drawings, also i haven't really thought of the whole cast of characters yet so it is still in the production stages Last edited by Fango; 12-03-2010 at 12:51 PM. |

The artwork IS the project. It takes a good writer an hour or two to come up with a good storyline. How many hours do you think it takes to draw it?? 30 - 50 at the LEAST. Anyone could write about someone being naked. It takes a LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT to draw and ink it. Thumbnails, storyboard, pencil, color, ink and supplies. And what's the compensation? Your name printed behind his? Are you kidding me? People who don't make art have NO IDEA how difficult and time consuming it is. It's never easy. We just do it so often, we make it look easy. There NEEDS to be compensation for any artwork. Children's books, graphic novels, a mural on your bathroom wall. It takes a lot of time to make quality art.

And let's face it - the world isn't exactly overloaded with great ENF/EUF/Fetish strips, is it? I have the greatest of admiration for Jenny, Miss Truth, Cyberhell and others, but the field is hardly so crowded that we don't need any more people working in it. Anything that adds to the canon would be good news. Personally, I'd want him to do more of the work than he's done so far before I'd even think about getting involved - maybe a proper storyboard rather than just a single paragraph, with a bit more detail, and a firm agreement to share the costs of materials, but hey, he admits it's only in the planning stage. Myself, I prefer writing my own stories, but there may be someone who'd love to do an ENF strip but is stuck for original ideas. Who knows? I think his post is a reasonable request. If the only artists who read it aren't interested, well fair enough. Incidentally, is there any rule that the artist's name HAS to be after the writer's name? I thought the order was by arrangement between the collaborators... Last edited by sylvae; 12-04-2010 at 11:43 AM. |

My suggestion would be to extend your idea to an actual plot - exactly WHAT happens to this girl? WHY is she a split personality? How did she get to be that way? Is she a genuine multiple personality (ie are the modest girl and the exhibitionist aware of each other?) Give a few scenarios about her reactions when she turns back into the "modest" personality? And, perhaps most important, tell your potential partner just why your idea is such a killer one, and what sets it apart from anything the artist might come up with his/herself. One way to do it would be to draw the strip (or part of it) with stick figures and show this to anyone who agrees to consider joining forces with you. I really don't subscribe to Belini's implication that you are some sort of parasite. I think you are a guy who has come up with what might be a good idea, but simply didn't know the correct form involved in seeing if it flies. I really hope that you can get something together, and that someone sees merit in it. Good scripts for strips are important (which is why pro comics credit the writer as well as the artist) and examples in our field are everywhere. Cartoon Joe is an artist par excellence, but how many would read his stuff without his hilarious plots and interesting backup characters (I'm in love with DaNeesha myself!)? Would Biker really have gained his present following without Jenny and Ashley being such interesting (and differing) characters? How many would have read Morphy's "Joanna C Mutchmore" to the end without the hilarious asides and brilliant dialogue? I for one would be interested to see the strip if something works out. Best of luck, and hope this helps. Last edited by sylvae; 12-05-2010 at 07:46 AM. |
