First and foremost ... would it bother you? That's the starting point. If it doesn't then you should set up some boundaries with her "Karen". It's a trust issue. If it does bother you, then you have to cut him out. Checking her email might work... but that stuff is probably long gone by now. I hidden camera might confirm what's going on.
