I think we're being too harsh on men who react poorly to unexpected squirting

I was with a girl I didn't know at the end of a party in the bed we had agreed to share for the night. We started hooking up.

I'm a big proponent of sex positivity, and celebrating whatever makes your partner unique. But a lot of the responses to posts about squirting on this sub are very judgemental on anyone who has a negative reaction to it. If you don't know what's happening and aren't informed it can look and feel a lot like you're just being violently pissed on mid-sex, when you're naked and vulnerable. I don't think it's unreasonable to react badly in that circumstance!

I think it's worth remembering that very, very, very, very few women squirt regularly. Most people have not encountered a squirter, and probably never will. A large number of men will never have experienced it and know nothing about it, beyond maybe having heard somewhere that it might be urine?

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a woman who knows she can and might squirt to let her partner know before they have sex, just so they're prepared for this very edge-case experience.

My wife never squirted until we found a new position. Now she squirts all the time. I don't think we need to be warned.

That being said, MOST of the time, squirting is actually just peeing (and natural, too). True squirting has a VERY specific feel to it and smell to it. Once you have experienced it, you will know what I mean, and it's very easy to tell the difference. And true squirting isn't as much volume as people like to believe.

Anyway, when my wife squirts and leaves a spot on the bed, I love sleeping in it. I thought all guys did.
