Hotmail issue

Hi there,
Do you know of any hotmail.com issue with reset of account passwords ?
I've had to log back in after my existing password seemed to no longer work and I'd been logged out.
Having requested a new password with my usual email address, the site states
'sorry you cannot use an email address of that domain'
however this is my usual address to my account
Can you advise?

outlook.live.com, login with hotmail address & password

Hi - sorry I dont mean outlook
It's to do with when I try to update my password and email address to one which ends with hotmail.com
This is one I've always used on this site.
I get the following notification

'Sorry. You may not use an e-mail address from that domain.
You will need to use a different e-mail address in order to continue. We apologize for the inconvenience.'
