Movie Recommendation- "Pretty Cool"

My latest Netflix find (thanks to Danncaps) is another straight-to-video, low budget flick, this time a T&A teen comedy called "Pretty Cool". It's kind of like "Zapped!" except that instead of the kid having the power to remove women's clothes, the kid has the power to make women take their clothes off themselves, using mind control. Unlike "Blood Relic", this movie is actually watchable, and pretty funny if you like slapstick and dumb dialogue (which I do). Good OCCish scenes include (in no particular order): The kid making the assistant principal (played by Cecilia Bergqvist) hot and horny; the kid's friend using mind control equipment to take over the body of said assistant principal when she's in a bar (He makes her try to lick her own breast in the bathroom); The kid's older sister (played by Amy Brassette) geting taken over, through the equipment, by a cat in heat, making her strip to her underwear and generaly act horny (The full, uncut sequence is available as an easter egg on the DVD) [As a side note, Amy Brassette is actually a very talented comedienne, displaying incredible impersonation/characterization talents in the movie, including a grandma, a woman who sounds like she smoked for 40 years, a black girl, and others]; A dream sequence in which he makes two girls orgasm when they hear a certain word, which really happens when he comes back to reality; and much more, including two ENF scenes, which I am uploading here.

The first comes after the kid makes two girls (the same girls he made orgasm) take off their tops (played, left to right, by Cindy Campbell and Summer Altice). When they see him, they get embarrassed, but then he controls them into feeling comfortable. The second involves the kid allowing his friend to "enjoy" the girls' locker room by convincing the 4-girl cheerleading squad (played by Brandy Miller, Sandy Wasko, Stacy Burke and Darby O'Riley) [who perform a cheer based on Hamlet's "To be or not to be" speech during the end credits] that they cannot see or hear his friend. When they go to shower, he sneaks in with them. The effect wears off, however, when the kid is knocked unconscious by the mind control equipment he just discovered. The girls can now see the friend, and needless to say, much screaming and covering ensues.

All in all, a fun movie.

Just for the sake of having said it, "Pretty Cool" has a few clothes orgasm scenes, from what i understand. Exactly what I was looking for in my post.

It just hit my local Hollywood, picked it up, about to watch it.

I thought I'd bump this with this EXCELLENT news from Rolfe Kanefsky, the director of Pretty Cool. It seems like a sequel is in the works!

I've got some news. First off, the trailer to my new horror flick, NIGHTMARE MAN is now on-line at www.rolfekanefsky.com. Check it out and let me know what you think. It's not erotic but it's cool for anyone into horror with some sexy stuff of Tiffany Shepis.

Now, the surprising news. A few days ago I had a meeting with MTI Home Video, the company that released PRETTY COOL. The film did not ship that well. However, the places that did get it, can't seem to keep the title on the shelves. It's renting like crazy and the president of MTI said and I quote: "PRETTY COOL, per capita, is MTI's highest renting title in 2 years!"

Because of this, other companies are suddenly tracking the title. The Movie Gallery just ordered many units. Blockbuster in Canada has just taken the film. Walmart is looking at it. They tell us that PRETTY COOL is renting like an "A-Level Hollywood title" and doing just as well or better than some of the recent NATIONAL LAMPOON movies! There is a buzz growing on the film and they say the simple fact is that the film works! People like it and it's catching on.

Well, because of this news, Alain Siritzky and I are now in serious talks about a PRETTY COOL 2. In fact, there will be a full page ad in tomorrow's Variety to announce the success of PRETTY COOL and production beginning on the sequel.

I am delighted and shocked to say the least. Right now, I have worked out a two page treatment for the sequel story, have done a character breakdown, and we just hired a casting director. We are suppose to start auditions a week from this coming Tuesday!

Now, none of this means that this project is definitely a "go" but it's a lot more real than it was a few days ago.

As for the story, it's brand new. New characters and new situation but it's takes place in the same sexy comedy universe of the first film. Don't expect any actors from the original one to be back. We are looking for new fresh faces for this fresh new story.

The new story deals with WALTER, another high school nerd (this time a whiz kid), a magical cell phone, and an unusual love triangle between a boy, a girl, and a computerized genie! As with PRETTY COOL, mind control does play a big part in the story. When Walter speaks to people over his magical cell phone, they have to do whatever he commands them to do. It's mind control for the hi-tech crowd. Whoever answers their phone can suddenly be under the control of this horny high school kid.

I think the story can be really cool (pardon the pun) and if we find some great new actors, who knows?! I'm amazed that it's gotten this far this fast.
