I have a few videos I've downloaded that are sideways when played. Any suggestions on how to rotate them?

It looks like windows movie maker can do it. Look under video effects rotate 90 or 270. Haven't tried it though.

Thanks, DRO. Unfortunately, I'm running Windows 2000, and Movie Maker requires XP. I'll keep looking. Hopefully there's something else out there that someone's aware of.

you can turn videos around with virtualdub, and its free
http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable/ Just drag the video into virtualdub, then click videotab, the click filters tab, then click ADD and scroll down through all the functions, until you see totate. You will also have to compress the video with your chosen video codec, and also choose MPEG layer 3 for your sound, to keep the file size small. regards CP. |
