I have no idea. I try not to think too hard about the sociology and philosophy behind these things.

Yes and no. On OF you can buy premade "exclusive" content. The idea being, any man can go to a free p0rn site and see Brittany P0rnst@r doing X activity. But only 'a few' men can see Brittany P0rnst@r doing X activity while wearing a red hat and sitting on a green couch. Some men like the exclusivity and thus pay for the hidden content.

On OF you can also pay premium fees and request that creators do certain videos, so its very similar to ELM in that sense. ManyVids is another such platform to buy clips and send requests to creators.
