I was wondering the same thing. All I know is that she deliberately puts herself into this situation, because immediately before this, we see her wandering around in a bathrobe before stripping it off and making a break for it. I haven't been able to find the full film, and the description only states that her character is preparing for her "first performance" and is visiting her mothering. IDK, maybe she has stage fright and is humiliating herself to make it less bad in comparison. :P
