Going for Novelty

Anyone done something a little out of the ordinary with their significant other's photos?

I have the ability to transfer artwork and photos to mugs. Regular white mugs, but also color-change mugs. So I got an idea, found a couple of my favorite photos of the wife, printed them out and pressed them to a color-change mug. Mug looks totally black normally, but you add hot water and, voila', naked wifey! Also fun because it starts at the bottom and goes up, so you see the good bits before you get to the face.

I waited several days after making it to show her. She was shocked when she figured out what was appearing, but later laughed, saying at least the colors came out well. The mug is currently up on a high shelf and may not see use until winter rolls around again and it's time for hot chocolate. But it's fun knowing that it's there.

That reminds me of some novelty drinking glasses I used to have. They were a set of four and each featured a photo of a different woman wearing a black bikini. Add ice and a cold drink and the bikinis would disappear. Of course, I didn't know those ladies.

Your idea sounds amazing! I'd love to make a cup featuring my wife! (Maybe even a set of four!) Any chance we could see a before and after pic of that mug?

I've actually got a novelty coffee mug of Bettie Page where her bikini disappears when you put hot liquid into it.

I could show you a 'Before', but an "After" would break the wife's rules: only I get to see the photos and the videos. And I'd like to keep my marriage and my genitals intact, thankyouverymuch.
