The background: Recently I underwent a prostatectomy. One of the lingering after effects is the inability to gain a hard on. It just doesn't happen. I have a prescription for sildenafil. But, it makes little difference. Under normal circumstances I would be attending clinic where we could look at options like a vacuum pump, creams, and even injections.
However, corona virus has put a stop to that for the immediate future. Meanwhile my urology nurse has instructed me to take a sildenafil and masturbate to orgasm once a week. Yes, that surprised me also. Here is the problem: As the cock becomes erect it becomes more sensitive. A flaccid cock has little sensitivity. That being case the reaching an orgasm takes about 90 minutes and a lot of effort. What should be a pleasure is almost a chore. It occurs to me that an effective male sex toy might be the answer. Something like an Autoblow. I am looking for something I can slip over my cock while I watch a movie. My hands would then be spared 90 minutes work, and masturbation might become a pleasure again. My previous experience of male sex toys is that they work but not really well. So, can anyone out their offer advice on something that has worked well for you? Keep in mind we are dealing with a flaccid cock, not an erect one. I don't mind investing in something that will do the job. But, I don't have money to waste in this economic climate. |

There ae some pretty good low cost options available to you depending upon how long since your surgery.
Take a look at the vaccum device in this Johns Hopkins University writeup: <https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/prostate-cancer/erectile-dysfunction-after-prostate-cancer> Also consider trying Cialis, 20 mg daily, instead of Viagra, although this is not cheap as most insurance doesn't cover it for ED. I have found Prelox, OTC, helpful. You'll know in a couple of weeks if it's going to work for you. <https://www.lifeextension.com/vitamins-supplements/item01373/prelox-enhanced-sex> You need to be careful of what you ingest as Testosterone products, while not causing prostate cancer, can feed it if it exists and I'd imagine your medical mafia will want some time to be sure that your PSA is near zero and that you have minimum Testosterone in your system during that time. Lastly, check the side effects of any urinary system drugs they prescribe, like Flomax. There are several clones of Flomax that don't have the same side effect profile it does. Hang in there. Lots of options out there. |

I have found things like fleshlights and most on the market are far too tight and nowhere near soft enough to feel realistic. Since finding some of the amazing Japanese realistic vagina toys I would not ever use the inferior versions again.
Look for toys made by Utensil Race and the like, they're amazing. Just use lots of lube and warm them in some hot water first. Also, go for toys with an enclosed end, they are harder to clean but far better feeling. |

Lots of good information thanks guys. looksalot, I'm pretty sure the vacuum pump is what the clinic will prescribe when eventually I get to attend. They have pretty much said so previously. Its purpose is to gain an erection. I and I could certainly use one of those :-). So, why wait, I'll go ahead and order online.
My current sildenafil(viagra) dose is 100ml. So, I need to find out whet the equivalent ciallis dose is and order some. And I will give prelox a try. Currently I'm not taking anything that would affect testosterone levels as far as I know. No flomax! My hospital prescribed kegal exercises and diapers. So camoj, I am going to look at the Japanese options you suggest. You have given my the confidence to look. Given the state of my penis, I am not sure "tight" would be an issue , so long as I can gain entrance! |

PalmsMan:
The max dose of Cialis is 20 mg/day and should be taken daily. It is not situational like Viagra but sort of builds up a higher baseline of erection ability. The generic version, Tadalafil, is equally effective, way lower priced with no headache side effect. I get mine from a Canadian pharmacy that are made in India. For your diaper issue you might discuss taking Myrbetriq. Takes a while to start working but helps control how much, when and the amount of notice you get: <Myrbetriq (mirabegron) is the first of a new class of drugs. It works by stimulating receptors in the bladder's detrusor muscle. This causes the bladder to relax, which reduces urinary urgency symptoms> |

Tell your Doc to write you a script for cialis as treatment for BPH. Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. Insurance will cover most of it.

Also, at order time the form asks for penis size. I assume they mean when it is erect. Prostatectomy reduces penile length. Since I haven't had an erection since surgery, I don't know my new size. Flaccid it is definitely smaller. |
