REQ: Legendary Australian Soap Opera Number 96

Question. Any Australians around that remember the old (in)famous Soap Opera Number 96? Apparently it was an extremely -- extremely -- risque show, even more so when you take into consideration how old it is (1970s).

One character has piqued my interest, That of "Miss Hemmingway":

Miss HEMINGWAY, a beautiful, blonde patient in psychiatric therapy with Dr Harold Wilkinson. A compulsive nudist who is unable to feel comfortable wearing clothes, she frequently creates interest for the startled visitors to Harold's office in Flat 7. Portrayed by Deborah (Tutty-) Gray.

Apparently she was added to the show after it started being shown in full color, and was a reoccuring character -- who was always stark naked, often in rather public spots.

But here's the odd thing, I haven't been able to find a single picture of her, PERIOD. The closest thing I've seen is "Debora Gray Magic", a somewhat famous Australian wiccan. I really don't think it's the same girl, but man, I wouldn't be upset if it was.


Anyway, requesting clips of "Number 96", especially with Miss Hemmingway. =)

One important thing to note is that I have seen grainy black and white photos of this show on various N96 websites... and it *was* full frontal nudity -- male and female.

So when I say Miss Hemmingway was starkers, I mean, er, well, imagine if one of us was a director of a soap opera. (First, find an attractive but gullible young starlet... Then, a perverted lawyer to write a nice airtight contract... )

Didn't she have to visit the resident psychologist (in his home for some reason??) because she thought she was lady godiva and would just drop he fur coat and stand naked for no reason? (aside from titilating youmg 12 year old boys watching in their bedoom with the sound down and lights of when they are supposed to be asleep....so I'm told)

Absolute WOW! According to Wikipedia, this scene was publicized in 1977 as the first full-frontal nude scene on Australian TV. And to think that 35 years later we still blur out butts on AMERICAN TV.
