Skinny Dipping After the Undie Run

I'm not much of a storyteller, so I'm sorry if this reads as a mess. This really happened recently and I wanted to share with you guys.

I just did my first Undie Run at my college. Hundreds of people participate in this run, but disappointingly we don't have a naked run like other schools do. Despite being known as a wilder party school, we are still more prudish about full nudity than schools in northern California. UCSC and UCB's naked runs come to mind.

However, unlike those schools, we do have a beach. Towards the end of the undie run, I noticed dozens of people started splitting off from the main group towards the beach. I had an idea of what to expect, so I ran with them.

Now, this group was about a 60/40 split (more girls than guys) with a few guys leading. Our college is known for having attractive/fit people and this group fit the stereotype. When the group hit the pier, they all paused. A big debate started happening.

"NAKED OR UNDERWEAR?"

A few of the girls were shy. They didn't want to go skinny dipping, they just wanted to swim in their underwear. More of the guys wanted to go naked, but they voiced their opinions quietly. After about a minute or two of discussion, one of the guys just yelled "NAKED!!!" and that's all it took to get half the group running towards the ocean.

And then everyone started taking their underwear off. I want to emphasize that I've never been in a real-life situation like this before. I had never seen so many beautiful girls stripping naked in front of me. Ever.

The night was such a blur. I only remember two girls vividly. One was a beautiful thin girl with straight black hair and black lacy underwear. She was one of the first to get naked. The other was an thinner blonde girl that I'll get to later. The rest of the girls I only remember vaguely. They were all thin. Everyone was shaved.

In that moment, I also noticed a few girls backed off when the group decided to go naked. They stood around considering it for a while, then chickened out and ran back towards the main undie run.

When I joined them in the ocean, it was just a purely fun experience. That's the thing that stands out to me the most. It didn't feel sexual, there were no creepy vibes, and no one was ogling anyone. It was just a very fun experience that felt natural and freeing. In that moment, I honestly couldn't fathom why nudity was so taboo.

I left the ocean early. Honestly, I can't swim and the tide was pretty strong that night. I stood around the pier watching. A few more people would come down to the pier and see what was going on. Half of them got scared away and ran back. The other half stripped down and joined in.

I watched as the skinny dippers come out of the ocean and come got their clothes. I talked to a few of the girls. They all thought this was crazy. Two of them said they were surprised they could do this, given their confidence issues. One of them didn't want to be seen naked outside the ocean, so she blitzed and got dressed lightning fast.

Some ENF moments that stood out:

• The blonde girl I mentioned earlier ran up to around where I was standing. She was fully naked, grabbed her top from the pier and started digging around for her bottoms. She slowly started to realize her bottoms had probably fallen off the pier and washed away into the ocean. I was standing right next to where her underwear had been, so she looked at me and yelled "YOU!!!" as if I had stolen her bottoms. I've never had the experience of having a strange naked blonde girl accuse me of stealing her underwear either. I denied it and she kept frantically looking around. Eventually, someone found them among the pile. They had just fallen off the railing and onto the floor.
• So many nervous girls stripping! We are a wild school and half-nudity is normal, but full nudity is still feared. Lots of comments afterwards about how crazy or scary this was.
• A couple dropped in late. The boyfriend was trying to convince the girlfriend to skinny dip with him. She looked hesitant the entire time, but went on the condition that she got to hold her underwear while they went. Even while naked, she was still afraid to get in the water and the boyfriend had to guide her in. She was thin with smaller breasts and brown hair.

Apparently, this happens at the end of every Undie Run here, but it's not a planned tradition. A small group of people always get the idea to go skinny dipping after an undie run, but results usually vary. I like to think this was a bigger group than normal.

It is quite the experience the first time you witness it, isn't it?

Growing up as kids in the rural town of West Greenwich, my friends and I spent hours skinny dipping in various swimming holes in the woods where we lived, but never in mixed company. (Unless it was just my sister and me)

The summer between my sophmore and senior years of high school (1976), I discovered Carr's pond in Rhode Island. It was a fairly big but secluded pond out in the woods, with water so crystal-clear, that it was actually used as a backup drinking water reservoir for the town of Coventry. Swimming was officially prohibited, of course, but unofficially, many free spirits (male and female) used to shed their clothes and skinny dip there. The only penalty for getting caught skinny dipping there, was to get chased out by the police or the DEP. The swimmers didn't allow gawkers, which were promptly chased away, but they welcomed anyone who wanted to get naked and swim or lay out in the sun.

The first time I went there, I didn't know about the skinny dippers, though. I went there to fish. The sight of guys swimming naked didn't surprise me...I was used to that, but the sight of nude women playing around in the water and laying out in the sun, sure did. I couldn't help but do some gawking of my own! I saw more T&A that day than I'd ever seen in my life!

Humorous story about that day:

I decided to keep my distance and try to get some fishing done a few hundred yards down the shoreline, but the idea of skinny dipping got to me and I soon shed my clothes and jumped in!

I swam around for a short time before I spied a large iron pipe that ran from a pump house on shore to the middle of the pond. Thinking that would be a good place to sit alone and soak up some sun, I swam about 50 yards straight out to it. I swear to you that I saw no one on the pipe at all when I started swimming for it, so as I approached it, I dipped beneath the surface to swim underwater for the last 20 feet or so. I reached the sandy bottom, swam along it until I saw a concrete support for the pipe and then arched back up for the silvery surface. Unfortunately, at the same time I reached the pipe, I saw several sets of legs dangling in the water! I had no idea where they had come from or whether they were male or female, but I was out of breath and had no chioce but to pick a spot in the tangle of legs and surface. I found a spot that offered some space and broke the surface. I was hoping that the space meant I was surfacing between two people but no, I surfaced with my face between the spread thighs of a twenty-something year old girl, her full, bushy pussy not more than six inches from my nose! I sputtered and choked, swallowed at least a gallon of pond water and tried to back out while also trying to appologize. My momentum had carried my legs under the pipe so I was on my back at this point and the only way to move away was to place my hands on her thighs and push myself away. All the while, she just sat there, looking down and smirking at me. Her boyfriend, who was sitting beside her, was laughing so hard at me that he was having just as hard a time breathing as I was! Fortunately for me, the couple found the whole situation quite funny and invited me to sit with them and later introduced me to some of their friends. I soon became a regular at Carr's Pond and spent most of that summer and the next one as well, hanging (literally!) with my new friends, naked as the day we were born.

Only thing close to that was when I went camping with 2 guys and 2 girls from grad school. None of us were coupled - one of the guy's was gay in fact. We had been drinking and it was really late and we walked by the lake. I thought "what the fuck" and took off all my clothes to see if anyone would follow. Sure enough, one of the girls was first to strip completely naked. Soon the other 2 guys were naked too, but unfortunately the other girl stripped only down to underwear. The nude girl and I were even WRESTLING in the water at one point, rubbing skin on skin. It was fantastic (we would subsequently sleep together a few times, but not that night).
