Wow! Fantastic pics. I, too, find these very exciting. I believe it was actually a custom in medieval times for women, especially higher class women, to have one or both breasts exposed. It was considered "classy". I'll do some research.

According to Wikipedia, in the 16th and 17th centuries, exposing the breasts was thought of as a kind of status symbol - especially for women keeping their youthful appearance. This was done from Queens down to prostitutes. Here's a link to the article.

I read in a pre-internet magazine that the women would apply rouge to their breasts and pasted on birthmarks to accent their nipples.
