I understand why there is a timelimit for editing your posts on this site, however i've had it happen twice when i wrote a story in fiction/non fiction that after posting i see some mistakes and start to edit a bit. Then you automaticly find pieces that have flaws, or you forgot a detail, or something needs refrasing etc. so you put in the work, when your satisfied you press submit to find the 15 minutes are gone and all your work is lost
![]() My suggestion is: Once you open a post to re-edit the timelimit should stop untill you re-submit. And if you want to edit 15 minutes after reposting the rules as they are now. grtz Milo |

I don't know if the vBulletin forum software can do that. My suggestion: write your story in a word processing program, read it over a few times to make sure you're satisfied with it, then copy and paste it to post it.

I've been reading for a while and have not found the reason why there is a time limit in the first place.
Is that explained somewhere I have not looked yet? Thanks. |
