I did a year's study in Ireland back at the start of the last decade and the city I was in had a big scandal one week when a tale went round about a game called 'Chicken Strip' which took place in one of the student bars.
Basically, the rules were simple: group of guys and girls take to the stage, the MC plays some music (ala musical chairs) and the contestants have until the music stops to remove one item of clothing. Anyone who doesn't do it (through fear or incompetence) is knocked out of the contest. Anyway, the story on this particular week was that, the Saturday before, four guys and four girls volunteered for this competition. The prize? A free watch. After a while it came down to just two girls. They both ended up down to their bra and panties. As it was told, the next time the music played the more confident of the two quickly took off her bra. The other one hesitated for a minute but, just before the music ended, quickly took it off. The crowd went wild! The MC played another tune. What would happen? This time even the confident girl seemed to balk before, so the story went, glancing over at her boyfriend in the crowd. He gave her a thumbs up or a nod or something and (permission granted!) then shimmied out of her panties. And so she ended up stark naked in an Irish bar - all for the sake of a wristw*tch! I know I wasn't too scandalised by this story. I regretted I hadn't been there! Alas, the controversy pretty much killed this off, at least for the rest of the year I was there. Has anyone else ever heard of anything like this? There was no wet t-shirts, no stripper poles, just a bunch of volunteers lined up and some music. I've searched for vids or pics of anything similar and can't find anything. Does it happen anywhere else? Is it called a different name? Last edited by admin; 02-27-2012 at 09:47 PM. |
