Confused - did she mean to do this?

In case I waste anyone’s time, this does not end up with an orgy but was a big turn on for me and left me completely confused. We’ve been married nearly 30 years and it’s all OK, wife is relaxed enough with me and will pose nude for photos and wear nice lingerie if I ask , go on a nude beach because it’s all anonymous but that’s it. In all other respects she’s prudish and there has never been a question of involving other people.
So a couple of weeks ago we asked a friend Andy over for dinner because we haven’t seen him for a while. It’s just some dinner, no special occasion or celebration so I’m fairly casual. She decided to wear a dress, nothing outrageous, just over the knee, looked smart so I thought nothing of it.
Andy arrives, we sit down for a pre dinner drink in a sort of triangle arrangement opposite each other and the conversation flows. It was about 10 minutes in that it registered. When she crossed her legs I got a glimpse of a stocking top. She doesn’t possess hold ups so this was suspenders as well. This may sound tame but she is not normally one do this kind of thing deliberately. I tried not to stare and wondered if I imagined it but sure enough a few minutes later another sighting. This is the crazy part., I got quite turned on. I started to tremble, my throat went dry and I found conversation difficult. What was this all about? Flirting with me? No, not in front of Andy. Flirting with Andy? No, not in front of me if at all. Teasing us both? No, not her style. I figured Andy probably got a flash as well but maybe not. If so he took it more calmly than me. The thing is that it was too infrequent and subtle and anyway and could have been accidental. She even pulled her dress down a couple of times. But then why was she wearing them anyway? Comfort? No, She says they are uncomfortable. Too warm? It’s winter . No good pair of tights? Possibly.
In theory this should have ended in sex for someone that night but being the real world it didn’t. She went to bed first leaving Andy and I talking over a drink. Neither of us brought the subject up because he just wouldn’t and because of that I just wouldn’t because he may be embarrassed. He left, I went to bed and she was asleep. The next morning we carried on as normal. Dilemma not over for me because if this happened again, just exactly the same I’d still get a great buzz. If things went further it’s a bonus. I could say she looked nice that evening and encourage her to wear them again but I’m scared to mention it case she’d genuinely be shocked at the fact that she’d exposed her stocking tops and spoil the chances of an action replay. So far I’ve kept quiet but at the moment I’m more confused about women than when I was 16. This is a fairly straight account of events . Ask me questions if you like but I don’t think there’s much to add.
